VCF Foundation Master in International Sports Management begins 13th edition
Ninety-nine students received a masterclass from Valencia CF president Anil Murthy at Mestalla on Thursday, in the opening of the Master in International Sports Management course
The opening ceremony for the VCF Foundation and ESBS' 2021/22 International Sports Management course took place this Thursday in the VIP box at Mestalla. Speaking to the students was Valencia CF president, Anil Murthy, who held a Masterclass with an interactive format for the around 100 students from 34 different nationalities.
Joining the president were Joey Lim, executive director of Valencia CF, and director general of the VCF Foundation, Teo Swee Wei.
The students, hailing from 34 different countries, asked questions about the running of a football club, the future of the industry, new generations of fans, the importance of new technologies and digital transformation.
The masterclass served as a preview of the opportunity that the VCF MBA offers its students, since more than 60% of the lecturers are professionals from Valencia CF and the VCF Foundation.
More than 600 students have already completed the prestigious MBA course. This year, the VCF Foundation and ESBS Training Center have added new areas of knowledge:
- Local and business development.
- Management of Club Assets.
- Corporate social responsibility in football.
The 34 countries represented in the Master in International Sports Management are: Germany, Saudi Arabia, Argentina, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, Chile, Cyprus, Colombia, Costa Rica, Ecuador, Spain, France, Finland, Ghana, Greece, Holland, Hungary , India, Italy, Japan, Morocco, Mexico, Luxembourg, Peru, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Russia, Singapore, Sri Lanka, South Africa, Turkey and Venezuela.
